The bachelor’s programme in Education imparts issues, theories and methods required to understand educational processes and analyse the current situation of education. Therefore, it also equips students with academically oriented problem-solving competences. Key competences include the ability to reflect on and define the subject of educational science from a philosophical perspective, the history of ideas and reception of educational science, as well as comprehensive training in the use of research methods.

Study programme

The bachelor’s programme consists of modules of the Introductory and Orientation Period (STEOP), sich compulsory modules, a research internship, a module to complete the bachelor theses and 30 ECTS credits of completing extension curricula.
