The admission to this programme is possible only if you successfully participate in the entrance examination and fulfil all requirements for admission to a bachelor programme at the University of Vienna.

If you do not have proficiency in German at level B1 or higher, please read the information about proficieny in German and about the entrance procedure carefully.

The registration period for the entrance examination for the academic year 2017/18 is over.

All registered people, that pass the entrance exam and fulfil the requirements to study a degree programme at the University of Vienna, can be admitted to this degree programme

Step 2: Online-Self-Assessment (deadline expired)

Step 3: The written exam

 

At least 14 days before the entrance exam you will receive a personal invitation by e-mail. This will contain information about the exact schedule for the entrance exam. Without this invitation letter you may not participate in the written entrance exam. 

Please save the whole day for the test and if you come from abroad/outside Vienna be advised to travel at least the day before.  

The written part of the entrance exam comprises tasks evaluating: 

  • knowledge contained in the above mentioned reading list
  • text comprehension in German and English based on subject related texts
  • cognitive competences

 

The pure working time for the exam will be 2.0 hours.

At the end of the exam you will be informed about the further steps. The results will be sent via e-mail.

Step 4: After the result

 

The admission to the degree programme is possible after the announcement of the results if you have been successful in the entrance examination and fulfil all requirements for a bachelor degree programme at the University of Vienna.
