Degree programmes with entrance exam procedure

There will be entrance exam procedures in the following degree programmes

After the end of the registration periods (3 June 2019 and 15 July 2019) of bachelor programmes with entrance exam procedure, now initial figures of prospective students exist. Further steps in the entrance exam procedure are set:

  • Law: 1.473 prospective students have registered, not all places have been allocated. Prospective students who have registered for a degree programme at the University of Graz, the Johannes Kepler University Linz or the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and who want to change their place of study can post-register in order to receive one of the 507 available places. The post-registration process starts on 11 June.

  • (International) Business Administration: 1.056 prospective students have registered, not all places have been allocated. Prospective students who have registered for a degree programme at the University of Klagenfurt or Graz or the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and who want to change their place of study could post-register in order to receive one of the 66 available places. These places have already been allocated.

  • Economics: 223 prospective students have registered, not all places have been allocated. Prospective students who have registered for a degree programme at the University of Klagenfurt or Graz or the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien and who want to change their place of study can post-register in order to receive one of the 130 available places. The post-registration process starts on 11 June 2019.

  • Business Informatics and Computer Science: 744 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 415 available places.
  • Journalism and Communication Studies: 1.018 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 970 available places.
  • Chemistry: 290 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 250 available places.
  • English and American Studies: 237 prospective students have registered, 230 places have not been taken. No possibility of post-registration exists for prospective students of other Austrian universities.
  • Transcultural Communication: 363 prospective students have registered, not all places have been allocated. Prospective students who have registered for a degree programme at the University of Graz and who want to change their place of study can post-register in order to receive one of the 299 available places. The post-registration process starts on 22 July.

  • Pharmacy: 1.050 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 560 available places.
  • Nutritional Science: 810 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 555 available places.
  • Biology: 1.730 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 1.030 available places.
  • Psychology: 3.762 prospective students have registered. The entrance exam will take place for the allocation of 485 available places.
  • Teacher Education Programmes: 2.520 prospective students have registered. The aptitute assessment will take place.
  • Sport Science: 471 prospective students have registered. The supplementary examination of sporting aptitude will take place.
  • Sociology, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Political Science: 1.273 prospective students have registered, 77 places have not been taken. No possibility of post-registration.
