Results of the registration period for bachelor programmes with entrance examination

After the end of the registration period, it is now clear for which bachelor programmes an entrance test will take place.

After the end of the registration period (Monday, 16 July) for bachelor programmes with entrance examination, the numbers of applicants are as follows:

-         Teacher Education Programme: 2,661 prospective students have registered, the Online-Self-Assessment must be completed until 31 July 2018. The test will take place.

-         Psychology: 3,045 prospective students have registered, the entrance exam for 500 available places will take place.

-         Nutritional Science: 598 prospective students have registered, 99 places have not been used. As this bachelor programme is only offered at the University of Vienna, no possibility of late registration for prospective students of other Austrian universities exists.

-         Mass Media and Communication Science: 949 prospective students have registered, not all places have been used. People who registered for this bachelor programme at the universities of Klagenfurt or Salzburg, who would like to transfer to the University of Vienna, have the possibility to register and get one of the 174 remaining places. The late registration procedure starts on 24 July 2018.

-          Biology: 1,361 prospective students have registered for 1,284 places, the Online-Self-Assessment must be completed until 31 July 2018. Afterwards, it will be decided whether or not the written test will take place.

-         Pharmacy: 831 prospective students have registered for 686 places. The Online-Self-Assessent must be completed until 31 July 2018. Afterwards, it will be decided whether or not the written test will take place.

-         Sport Science: 400 prospective students have registered for the bachelor programme and 386 people have registered for the teaching subject “Sports and Physical Education”. The supplementary examination of sporting aptitude will take place in any case.
