Change of personal data

 

During your studies, some of your personal data might change (e.g. your address or academic degree). It may also happen that some of your personal data in our system are incorrect (e.g. date of birth, spelling of your name).

You can change certain data yourself via u:space, while other changes require you to provide documentation.

Data changes are only made for active students and persons who are in the process of applying for admission.

Changes via u:space

You can change the following data yourself via u:space.

  • Forwarding e-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Home and different delivery address
  • Bank account details

Please note that some of these fields are required fields. Bear in mind to keep your data up to date.

Change of name

If your name has changed (e.g. through marriage), please use the contact form (Topic: Change of data) to reach the Admission Office, providing the applicable documentation (e.g. marriage certificate) and a scan of your passport or ID card. As soon as your has been changed, you can order a new u:card > Personal Matters > My u:card.

Entering an academic degree

If you want your academic degree to appear on all your documents, please use the contact form (Topic: Change of data) to reach the Admission Office, providing the applicable documentation (e.g. official notice of degree award) and a scan of your passport or ID card. We can only enter degrees awarded by academic institutions within the EU/EEA or degrees recognised through a nostrification procedure.

Change of citizenship

If you changed your citizenship, please use the contact form (Topic: Change of data) to reach the Admission Office, providing the applicable proof (proof of citizenship and passport or ID card).

Change of gender

If your gender has been entered incorrectly, please use the contact form (Topic: Change of data) to reach the Admission Office, providing the applicable proof (passport or ID card).

Correction of date of birth or spelling of the name

In case your date of birth is incorrect or your name is misspelled in our system, please use the contact form (Topic: Change of data) to reach the Admission Office, providing documentation for the correct spelling or date of birth (passport or ID card).
